Prof. Dr. Maria Pohn-Lauggas is the Professor of Qualitative Methods of Social Research at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Ruhr University Bochum (DFG Heisenberg Professorship).


Main areas of teaching and research:

Political sociology, historical sociology, collective memory and culture of remembrance, multigenerational and biographical research, visual sociology, discourse research, methodological plural research
