Prof. Dr. Cornelia Weins is the Head of the interdisciplinary Center for Research Methods at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and a Professor of 'Empirical Social Research' in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
She is recognized for her expertise in methods of empirical social research. Her primary research areas include Political Sociology and Prejudice Studies. Currently, she is leading a research project on prejudice-driven violent offenses in NRW from 2012 to 2019, involving the quantitative coding and statistical analysis of documents from the police and judiciary.
