Dr. Markus Totzeck

Markus Totzeck explores the relationship between preaching and law, utilizing the sermon corpus of Friedrich D. E. Schleiermacher (1768-1834). In his postdoctoral project in the field of Practical Theology, he aims to develop a new homiletic perspective for addressing law and legislation in sermons.

Markus Totzeck completed his doctoral studies at Heidelberg University and concurrently serves as an elected community pastor in the Evangelical Church of Westphalia.
