Admission requirements

The study program is designed for students with an interdisciplinary social science bachelor's degree and a fundamental understanding of empirical social research methods.

Students with degrees in specific social science disciplines (such as Sociology, Political Science, Social Policy, Social Economics/Economics) are also encouraged to apply and may, if necessary, pursue additional social science coursework within the Master's program. Possible additional studies will be discussed during a mandatory advisory session.

The Master's program in Social Sciences has limited local admissions. Admission is contingent on a minimum grade for the Bachelor's degree, determined by the available seats and the number of applicants. Information about the current admission process can be found on the website of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
